Irvan Permana has a special interest in building brands from scratch and is particularly interested in connecting brands with their consumers through data, content, and technology. His experiences range from strategic planning to implementation stages, spanning from retail to corporate brands, multi-channel to omnichannel approaches, and traditional to O2O communication, covering the entire spectrum from awareness to loyalty.
With over 25 years of experience, he firmly believes that the consumer is the heart of every brand. His book, "Brand is like a Donut," stands as a testament to his passion for brands and consumers. He earned his Master's Degree in Communication with highest honors from the University of Indonesia.
He began his career as a research interviewer in 1999, followed by a marketing consultant in 2000 and continued with various brand consulting roles. In 2012, he joined IRIS Jakarta as Brand Planning Director and in 2013 took on the new responsibility as Business Unit Leader of the Brand and Retail Omnichannel unit. His career trajectory led him to become the Business Unit Leader of CRM and Loyalty. In this role, he sets business and strategic directions, contributing creatively by connecting the dots between brand, technology, and consumer, and enabling data integration throughout the brand journey.
